Golf Travel Cases
Do you travel with your golf clubs?
You probably paid a nice sum for your clubs so securing them is protecting your investment.
A regular golf bag can be easily opened, increasing the risk of damage or theft. Wouldn’t it be frustrating if you arrived at your destination with an empty bag?
Golf travel cases are generally classified into:
Soft Cases/Hybrid:
-
Great when traveling via auto.
-
Lighter, easier to carry around and store.
-
Less expensive.
Hard Cases:
-
Strongly recommended for travel by airplane. More expensive.
-
Hard cases are made from resin/fiberglass material. This protects your golf clubs from damage in case baggage handlers throw your bags over sharp objects while transferring baggage. Hard cases often come with a lifetime warranty for in-flight damage.
-
The disadvantage is they take more space and are a little more difficult to store.
Well worth it!
